    So are you ready to tap into your creativity? We are all born creative. Even creative people get stuck and have blocks.

    RESET

    COVID-19 has invaded our lives in the last couple of months. The world has changed quickly before our eyes. Things that we took for granted has now become hard to get. People have lost their jobs, schools and businesses have closed down; friends and family have become sick some have passed away. Uncertainty is in the air of what will happen next.
     
    People that are not essential workers are having to stay home , some are getting bored, while essential workers are having to be in the front line and deal with the stress and anxiety of keeping themselves healthy, help others and not bring it home to their families.
     
    As a essential worker I too found myself becoming overwhelmed and anxious. I had to take a mental day off to RESET my mind.
     
    Phillipians 4:6 says " Be anxious for nothing; but with prayer and supplication; with thanksgiving, make your request known unto God."
     
    So I began to talk to God and the word He gave me was hit the reset button daughter.
     
    Romans 12:12 says " "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will." ... Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
     
    So hear are some things I am doing to reset :
     
    • Meditate/Pray: Learn to be still to hear the voice of God, talk with Him
    • Journal: Journaling is putting your thoughts on paper.  Putting them down on paper sends a signal to the brain to take action.
    • Doodle/Draw: I doesn't matter if you can draw or not just be free to let your thoughts flow by the movement of your pen .
    • Move: Get moving have fun while doing it.  Dance to your favorite song, take a walk around the block to clear your mind
    • Don't be hard on yourself if you can't do it all today you can try again tommorow.
    • Speak Affirmations over your life.
